I didn’t start Tide & Ink to build a “brand”.

I started it because I kept seeing good businesses let down by bad websites… and even worse words.

Most of the time, it’s not a big problem.

Nothing’s broken.

It’s just… unclear.

Too many words.
Not the right ones.
Or it sounds like someone’s tried a bit too hard to sound “professional”.

So I started fixing it.

I’ve been writing for over 20 years.

Websites, blogs, social posts — all of it.

Not “content”. Just words that make sense and sound like an actual person wrote them.

These days, I build simple Squarespace websites, write the words that go on them, and help small businesses show up properly online.

Nothing fancy.

Just clear, honest stuff that works.

I’m based in Cornwall, working with small businesses here and across the UK.

Most of them are busy doing the job they’re actually good at…

…and don’t really want to spend their evenings trying to write a homepage or figure out SEO.
